Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2024/25. It is published voluntarily by One Rectangle Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15416016).

Although we are not currently required by law to publish a statement (the statutory threshold applies to organisations with an annual turnover of £36 million or more), we choose to do so as a matter of good practice and in line with our values.

1. Our organisation

One Rectangle Limited is a British technology company incorporated in 2024. We design, build, and operate digital products and platforms, with activities spanning software development (SIC 62012 · 62020), technology consultancy, and financial technology ventures. We operate primarily in the United Kingdom with a small team of directors and principals, and we engage specialist contractors and professional advisers as needed.

2. Our commitment

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We have zero tolerance of modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains. Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking, as defined in the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

3. Our supply chains

Given the nature and scale of our operations, our supply chains are relatively limited. They principally comprise:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Software development tools and SaaS platforms
  • Professional services (legal, accounting, design)
  • Contracted technology specialists
  • Office and administrative suppliers

We consider the risk of modern slavery in our direct operations to be low. We recognise that risks may be higher in certain global technology supply chains (for example hardware manufacturing and outsourced labour in some jurisdictions) and in lower-tier subcontracting arrangements we do not directly control.

4. Policies

We maintain and uphold standards that support the prevention of modern slavery, including:

  • Employment practices: we comply with UK employment law, National Minimum Wage regulations, and right-to-work checks for anyone working on our behalf in the United Kingdom.
  • Supplier conduct: we expect suppliers and contractors to comply with applicable laws, treat workers fairly, and not use forced, bonded, or child labour.
  • Speak-up culture: team members and contractors are encouraged to raise concerns about unethical conduct without fear of retaliation, including via hello@orlimited.com.

5. Due diligence

Our approach to due diligence includes:

  • Engaging established, reputable suppliers with published ethics and compliance policies where practicable.
  • Assessing new suppliers for alignment with our values and applicable legal requirements.
  • Including appropriate contractual terms requiring compliance with modern slavery legislation where relevant.
  • Reviewing higher-risk engagements more closely before appointment.

As we grow, we will continue to refine our due diligence processes proportionate to the size and complexity of our supply chains.

6. Risk assessment

We periodically assess modern slavery risk across our operations and supply chains, taking into account sector, geography, subcontracting depth, and worker vulnerability. During 2024/25, we did not identify instances of modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains. No remedial action was therefore required.

7. Training and awareness

Directors and principals responsible for procurement and supplier relationships are aware of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and indicators of modern slavery. We will extend formal training as our team and supplier base grows.

8. Performance indicators

We will monitor the effectiveness of our approach using proportionate indicators, such as the number of suppliers reviewed, concerns raised, and actions taken in response to identified risks. Given our current scale, formal KPIs are kept under periodic review.

9. Approval

This statement was approved by the board of directors of One Rectangle Limited on 9 June 2025 and applies for the financial year 2024/25.
